Alberta Health Services
The AOTDA is a registry managed by Alberta Health Services (AHS) where individuals can register their wish to become organ and/or tissue donors. They actively raise awareness and provide information about organ donation.
The GoodHearts Foundation is a registered charity based in Edmonton. They provide housing and financial assistance to transplant patients receiving treatment at the University of Alberta Hospital. While their primary focus is on supporting patients, they also raise awareness about organ donation.
The University of Alberta's student-led Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness initiative educates future healthcare professionals and the community about organ donation through talks, booths, social media, and collaborations, ultimately aiming to increase donor registration and save lives.
